Original Quality Dior Collection. Silver Shadow Wood. A Milky Woody Scent: Myrrh, Iris, Musk, Floral. The name was so beautiful I couldn't resist buying it! Later, I saw the scent composition and thought it was boring! The initial impression was neither surprising nor disappointing. After a few more tries, I found the longevity to be good, but the sillage was poor; perhaps its gentleness lies in its understated nature. My initial impression: After the alcohol dissipated, the woody notes emerged first. The woody notes blended with iris and honey, with a hint of sweetness at the beginning, establishing its alluring and expensive base. Later, the resinous woody notes continued to be sweet with musk. The lack of surprise might be due to its beautiful name; I expected a sophisticated, ethereal fragrance, but it turned out to be a sweet, down-to-earth, and powdery scent. The iris was powdery but not overpowering, and not offensive. For me, it just didn't live up to its name's description. I don't understand why it's silver? Its scent is faint and elusive, without a hint of aggression, ever-present and comforting. Perhaps it's the harmonious blend of woody and sweet notes that makes it so, hence the name "Clear Wood." It's suitable for any occasion and any weather, and perhaps this simple, somewhat mundane quality is precisely its charm, which I find endearing. If I had to describe it in one sentence, it would be like an old piece of wood, with some outlines, not entirely clear, imbued with complex emotions, carrying a sense of age, like a story
