Terre means "everything is born from this"!
Perfumer Jean Claude Ellena originally wanted to create a perfume without animal and musk, compatible with the skin, and reflecting the essence of human nature and personality. But by chance, he felt the touch of wine that made people feel physically and mentally immersed! He spent a year walking and touching the vineyard, realizing that the soil is the root of all things. When passing through the wine cellar, he felt that the dusty wine bottles were constantly differentiating into living elements. When opening the bottle, the wine smelled like perfume, like emotions living in the air, so he created Terre D'hermes, which is the new concept of Hermes' new men's fragrance.
This perfume draws on the beautiful things from the vast earth, wind, sun, dew, fruit, floral and fruity fragrance - combining a unique taste. The seven ingredients contained in the fragrance are all composed of plant and mineral essences, and the raw materials are completely natural materials~
He uses 60% of cedar as the main structure, and the lively aroma of grapefruit, sweet pepper and pink peppercorns, in addition to the noble geranium and the tenacious breath of cedar, creates an atmosphere suitable for both movement and stillness.
He is deeply moved by the richness of the land and minerals, but suffers from the fact that there is no mineral smell in the world, so he touches and strikes the flint again and again to remember the smell, and then adjusts the formula in his mind like writing a score, thus creating a mineral smell that does not exist in the world.
