Gucci launches its haute couture fragrance collection in January 2017. The Gucci Alchemist Garden collection was created by master perfumer Alberto Morillas under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele. Inspired by alchemy and the art of perfume making, the fragrances are meticulously formulated to be layered and blended to create unique, personalized compositions. Gucci The Alchemist's Garden Hortus Sanitatis will launch in 2017 as a new addition to the collection, available exclusively at select stores including Dover Street Market and select Gucci boutiques. Hortius Sanitatis, Latin for "Garden of Health," is named after one of the earliest natural history encyclopedias from the 15th century. Gucci has published a book of the same name with British photographer Derek Ridgers, who captured the Pre-Fall 2017 collection.
